I had a very positive experience with Ale Smithing. Delivery was fast, with the hop plants arriving in very good condition, well secured in the package. They’re growing very well so far. I absolutely recommend this place, within 48 hours I had my healthy plants. Update: a few months on and the hops are happy as can be. Strong and vigorous plants.

I have just bought a 1 gallon starter pack . Previously I have home brewed from canned wort. ale smithing has sourced all the fiddly little ingredients and combined them into a series of recipes to brew from grains. Just add water ,patience and some basic kitchen equipment . There are detailed instructions. In summer I belive they grow and sell their own hop plants. This is a small scale rural business . If you are going to the adress rather than mail order it is signed as The Glen from the roadside and the shop is in the outbuildings at that back.

Spent an hour driving there today. Eventually found it as it's not signed. And was shut. Rang the number for 10 minutes with no answer. Avoid like the black death.

Really good kits and the best way to get started with All Grain Brewing. Loved doing them and drinking the results.
